“The Woman Between Worlds”- Original Acrylic Painting

The Woman Between Worlds — Original Acrylic Painting

The Woman Between Worlds is an original 16″ x 20″ acrylic painting created for The Blueberry Daughter: A Spiritual Native American Fable. Born from a dream, the mysterious central figure appears with one eye entirely white and the other entirely black—a woman suspended between opposites: light and darkness, the seen and unseen, the physical and spiritual worlds.

Surrounded by celestial imagery, copper spirals, stones, feathers, and symbolic details, the piece has the feeling of a vision rather than a traditional portrait. Her contrasting eyes became the heart of the painting, suggesting duality, intuition, transformation, and the ability to exist between two realities.

This is the original, one-of-a-kind artwork—not a print. It was painted by G. Edward Martin, author and illustrator of The Blueberry Daughter, and is personally signed by the author/artist.
